The mission of the Payson City Police Department is to efficiently provide superior law enforcement service to our community.  Our efforts include promoting a safe environment through a police-community partnership, with an emphasis on mutual trust, fairness, pride, integrity and professionalism.

Chief’s Message:
As Chief of Police, I am honored to serve the City of Payson. Each day I am honored to work alongside the outstanding men and women, sworn personnel and civilian staff, who are the foundation of this Department. Policing in Payson is a rewarding opportunity and we are dedicated to providing excellent service. In order to deliver exceptional service to our residents, businesses, and visitors, it is imperative that we foster community relationships, share information and interact in a collaborative approach to maintaining public safety. The Payson Police Department is focused on proactive community partnerships, aimed at providing the best solutions and positive outcomes for problems we face as a community. Fighting crime and creating a safe environment is our top priority.  Partnering with the community through personal interactions, we can maintain the highest community standards, and we are proud to do our part.
