Payson City is currently recruiting for seasonal workers for the pool, golf course, cemetery, parks, streets, and city grounds.
Payson City Council adopted a tentative budget on May 1, 2019. Please click above to review the budget.
A Public Hearing to adopt the final budget will be held June 5, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the city council chambers. All are invited to attend.
A symposium and emergency preparedness fair for Elk Ridge, Woodland Hills, Salem, Spanish Fork, Payson, and Santaquin residents will be held on Saturday, May 18th, from 10- Noon at Salem Hills High School. Keynote speaker Peter Quittner, Utah County Emergency Manager, and other speakers will share lessons learned from the recent fires and what to expect next. After the speakers, information booths and a service project assembling classroom emergency buckets will be available.
Because emergency supplies at Salem Hills High School were depleted during the fires last fall, we will be collecting emergency supplies to donate to the school.

What is happening at Memorial Park?
After much discussion over the years regarding the Tennis court area at Memorial Park, we are revamping this area and turning it into a useable active recreation area with six lighted Pickle-ball Courts and a basketball area with six hoops.
Payson City Chamber of Commerce offers a strong network of businesses working together to keep consumers in our city. Businesses have the opportunity to invest in the community while also giving them a chance to increase their own business growth.

PAYSON I-15 INTERCHANGE
Environmental Impact Statement
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and Payson City are preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to evaluate the interchange at Main Street (SR-115) and I-15. The study team is currently evaluating the final four alternatives. The next open house will be
in late 2016/early 2017; check here later in the year for specific details.
