Adventure Day - June 3, 2023

The first annual Adventure Day will be held on June 3, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Payson City is Home to Adventure!  There are many exciting events taking place. 

Unveiling of Payson City Dowdle Puzzle

One of the excitng events taking place on Adventure Day is the unveiling of the Payson City Dowdle Puzzle created by the artist, Eric Dowdle.   This unveiling event/program will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Memorial Park.  City Officials and Eric Dowdle will talk about the places, people,  and things that are highlighted in the puzzle.    

In addition, some of the businesses, people and representatives of people/places featured in the puzzle have been invited to come and place their puzzle piece of the giant puzzle replica that will be unveiled at the program.  

City officials are excited about the new Payson City Dowdle Puzzle, which captures the essence of Payson City truly being Home to Adventure and a community that has an open heart and willingness to learn and engage.  

Mr. Dowdle has done an excellent job of preserving Payson City's history.  

Puzzles will be available for purchase at the event for $25.00 each.  

The money generated from the sale of the puzzles will be used toward paying off the cost of the artwork and the associated costs of the puzzles.  

Music, Business Displays, Food Vendors and Inflatable Slide

From Noon to 5:00 p.m. there will be various musical performances such as the Payson Band, Payson Chorale, etc. lots of food vendors, business display and an inflatable slide.  

There are many other adventure activities taking place throughout the day.
